Case study

Hayink: customer response from 25 minutes to 2-3. Mockups from 90 to under 10. B2B conversion up 35% in a month.

What we shipped for our own SME, before we shipped it for anyone else.

Disclosure

Hayink is the Armenian textile printing business one of our cofounders, Hagop Khachadourian, has run since 2022. We use it as our testing ground for everything we build. The numbers below come from Hagop's own books.

We disclose this because honesty is the trust signal. We didn't do this for an arms-length client. We did it for ourselves first.

What Hayink does

Hayink is an artist-first textile printing business in Yerevan, Armenia. Custom merch for brands, creators, and corporate event teams. Tote bags, quarter-zips, full event kits. Clients across Armenia, the Middle East, and beyond.

The owner runs end-to-end execution: client briefs, quoting, production, quality control, delivery. The classic operator profile, watching his best hours disappear into the same repeated tasks every week.

The problems we found

Manual customer intake

Every new B2B inquiry triggered the same 25-minute back-and-forth. Quantity, deadline, print method, budget, file readiness, sizes. Across dozens of inquiries per week, this was the single biggest time sink in the business.

Mockup creation by hand

Every customer wanting to see how their logo would look on the merch waited 90 minutes for a manual mockup. Open Photoshop, layer the logo, render the preview, send it. Slow, repetitive, prone to error.

A site that wasn't helping

Vulnerabilities. Broken pages. Slow load. The site looked respectable from a distance but wasn't qualifying leads, converting visitors, or even staying secure.

Three installs, two weeks

What we shipped, in order.

1

AI customer intake bot

A Claude-based assistant that handles initial customer inquiries. It collects the print specs (quantity, deadline, sizes, files, budget), generates an automated quote from the pricing model we built, and either books the production slot or escalates to the owner. What used to take 25 minutes of typing now takes the customer 2 to 3 minutes of guided conversation.

2

Automated mockup generator

The customer uploads their logo, picks the merch type, and the tool produces a clean preview in under 10 minutes. Replaces the 90-minute manual Photoshop process. The customer sees their design on the product before they finish their coffee.

3

Site cleanup and performance pass

Vulnerability patching, broken page repair, performance optimization. Image sizing, asset trimming, structured caching. The site now does the work it was supposed to do.

“The mockup tool is the one I missed every time I quoted a job. Now I send a preview before the customer finishes their coffee. The intake bot took the worst part of my week and made it disappear.”
